When you register with us, you register with your email address. This email address is your account name. We store your email address in our database along with the password you supplied. We can also store your VAT number and your name if you supply them.
We DO NOT disclose any of this information to a third party.
We do not by default store the spreadsheet that you upload to us. We delete uploaded spreadsheets after you log out. We do store a checksum of the uploaded spreadsheet to help us identify if a duplicate spreadsheet is uploaded.
HMRC authorise our software and you authorise it to access your VAT account at HMRC to make the returns. This process involves HMRC issuing a token to us which we associate with your account. This token expires every 18 months and must be refreshed. You can revoke the token at any time from your logged in account.
We collect your personal information to allow us to carry out the various business functions such as;

How we use your information depends on which of our services you have used. We have to hold the details of people who have requested a ‘service’ from us in order to provide them with that service and for other closely related purposes.
